>> SYWG Organized Staff Representatives to Yan’an
On November 3, 2006, SYWG Party Committee organized more than 60 staff representatives to go to Yan’an, the sacred place of the Chinese revolution, to study the Yan’an Spirit and promote overall development of SYWG. This is another important patriotism education activity following that in Jinggangshan, Jiangxi in 2002 and that in Xibaipo, Hebei in 2003.

>> SYWG Held “Re-creating Resplendence” Concert
On July 8, 2006, a large-scale concert themed “Re-creating Resplendence” was held by SYWG at the Shanghai Yunfeng Theater to mark the 85th anniversary of CPC’s establishment and the 10th anniversary of the merger and establishment of SYWG. Secretary Wu Ming of the Party Committee of Shanghai Financial Work Commission delivered a speech at the concert. Attending the meeting were representatives from the Shanghai Bureau of China Banking Regulatory Commission, the Shanghai Securities Regulatory Bureau, the Party Committee of Shanghai Financial Work Commission, the Shanghai Securities Association and the Logistic Department of the Shanghai Headquarters of the People’s Armed Police. Over 800 people from 14 trade union branch teams of SYWG took part in the concert. With high mood, everyone was excited at the concert.

>> SYWG Launched a Donation campaign
In February 2005, the Party Committee, Administration, Labor Union and League Committee of SYWG proposed to launch the donation collection campaign entitled “Earth - Our Common Home”. In this way they provided concern and aid for the disaster victims. The league members, cadres and staff responded to the proposal in no time and donated money actively.

>> SYWG Held Spring Festival Reception to Comfort Cadres Sent Overseas
On February 5, 2005, SYWG held a Spring Festival reception to comfort cadres sent overseas and their families. Fifteen cadres stationed in divisions and business branches in Hong Kong and places other than Shanghai, as well as their relatives attended the reception. Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of Board of Supervisors, Tian Enmin, Vice President Du Ping and heads of Human Resource Division, Party Committee Office and Labor Union paid an earlier new year call to these cadres and their families. Meanwhile, divisions and business branches throughout the country also comforted cadres sent to other areas outside Shanghai.

>> SYWG Holds the “Health Cup” Badminton Competition of 2004
On November 13, 2004, the “Health Cup” Badminton Competition of 2004 was held by SYWG at Shanghai Gymnastic Center. More than 140 players from 24 teams took part in it. Team 1 of Shanghai Division No.2 Branch Labor Union won the Group Champion. Song Youyuan and Fan Hao from Lujiabang Road Business Branch got the first place of men’s doubles while Hu Jiejing from Brokerage Division and Sun Meijie from Research&Consulting Institute acquired the championship of women’s doubles.

>> SYWG Holds the “Health Cup” Swimming Competition of 2004
On August 27, 2004, the “Health Cup” Swimming Competition of 2004 was held by SYWG at the swimming pool of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. More than 150 athletes from 22 teams took part in the events such as relay, women’s 50m breaststroke, men’s 50m breaststroke, men’s 50m freestyle, men’s 100m breaststroke. Teaming up and working tenaciously, the competitors all got excellent results.

>> SYWG Holds Young University Students Work Communication Meeting
On July 31, 2004, Shenyin & Wanguo held the Young University Students Work Communication Meeting at which they exchanged the experience about how to attract and use the talented. The meeting provided young employees with a platform where they could communicate work experience and give advices on the company’s development.

>> SYWG Holds Theme Seminar “Where the Dream Start - Youth Growth and Company Development”
On the afternoon of May 25, 2004, Shenyin & Wanguo held a seminar with the topic “Where the Dream Start - Youth Growth and Company Development”, at which the guests spoke straightforwardly and the audience joined actively, creating a happy and lively atmosphere. At first Feng Guorong recalled his first day at work and mentioned his feeling about career experience. Then some young leaders of the company shared their unforgettable experiences in work with the audiences. At last Feng raised his hope for the development of youth, which encouraged the youth present and gave a perfect close to the meeting.

>> Second SYWG Staff Arts Festival Closes
On September 20, 2003, Shenyin & Wanguo hold the closing ceremony of the Second Staff Arts Festival in the hall of CPC　Shanghai Committee Party School. Feng Guorong, Party secretary and general manager, made a speech and all employees in Shanghai and more than one hundred representatives from the other areas took part in the ceremony. The Second Staff Arts Festival, lasting for about three months, exhibited the corporate culture and the staff spirit through many colorful activities consisting of five themes, such as Active Youth, Wonderful Shenwan, Hard Experience, Happy Family, and Flowing Time.

>> SYWG Holds “Correspondents’ Forum”
On the afternoon of June 20, 2003, Shenyin & Wanguo opened a press conference, attracting more than 20 media such as Jiefang Daily, Wenhui Daily, Xinmin Evening News, Shanghai Morning Post, China Securities Journal, Shanghai Securities News, Securities Times, Shanghai Television Station, Shanghai Oriental Television Station and so on. Feng Guorong, general manager of Shenyin & Wanguo, Tian Enmin, chairman of supervisory committee, and relevant chief heads of headquarter, attended the press conference, announced the development and achievement in operation and management and communicated with the journalists.
