>> SYWG Grant, Scholarship & Grant for Excellent Students Awarded
On December 19, 2006, at the awarding ceremony of 2006 SEDF Shenyin & Wanguo Grant and Scholarship & Grant for Excellent Middle School Students held by the Shanghai Educational Development Foundation (SEDF) in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, 1,091 teachers and students received the RMB0.87 million subsidies from SYWG and other companies.

>> SYWG Launches Donation of “Warmth and Love”
On November 6, 2006, SYWG launched the donation of “warmth and love” in Shanghai according to requirements in relevant notice of the Shanghai Municipal Government. According to incomplete statistics, there were more than 700 clothes and quilts and over RMB50, 000 raised in its headquarter in just two days.

>> SYWG Visited Shanghai Headquarters of the People’s Armed Police
On July 31, 2006, one day before the Army Day, SYWG President & CEO and Party Secretary Feng Guangrong and Chairman of Board of Supervisors and Deputy Party Secretary Tian Enmin led a group to visit the Shanghai Headquarters of the People’s Armed Police, and extended sincere greetings to the officers and armed police with gifts of comfort.

>> SYWG Donation for “Shanghai Social Poverty Relief Foundation”
On January 13, 2006, SYWG donated over RMB68,000 to the “Shanghai Social Poverty Relief Foundation” in addition to its loving-outreach activity in Shanghai of donating winter clothes with love and care. The SYWG staff handed over 1,430 pieces of donated winter clothes and sent them to SYWG’s neighborhood committee.

>> SYWG Leaders Extend Regards to Shanghai Headquarters of People’s Armed Police
On July 31, 2005, one day before the Army Day, SYWG leaders visited officials and soldiers of the logistic department of the Shanghai Headquarters of the People’s Armed Police, the “Co-construction Unit by the Army and People”, reflecting the inseparable relationship between the Army and People as fish and water. They also exchanged views about the situation of the education campaign to preserve the advanced nature of CPC members and reform and development.

>> SYWG Team Wins 1st Place at Shanghai Financial Sector’s Youth Debate Contest
The Shanghai Financial Sector’s Youth Debate Contest entitled “Credit and Anti-risk” held its final session in the assembly hall of the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SFE) on August 24, 2005. The contest, under the auspices of the SFE, was co-sponsored by the Young Employees’ Committee of the Shanghai Financial Sector, Young Employees’ Office of the Shanghai Communist Youth League Committee, the Youth League Committee of Shanghai Banking Regulatory Bureau of China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC), the Youth League Committee of Shanghai Securities Regulatory Bureau of China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the Youth League Committee of Shanghai Insurance Regulatory Bureau of China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) and the Youth League Committee of Shanghai Branch of the People’s Bank of China. Feng Guorong, SYWG Party Secretary, CEO & President, Tian Enmin, SYWG Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of Board of Supervisors, Assistant President Lu Wenqing and some other division leaders watched the contest. The SYWG team managed to beat the Bank of China team, winning the top prize in the contest.

>> “SYWG Prize” of Shanghai Municipal Educational Development Foundation Awarded
On June 9, 2005, the 2004 “SYWG Prize” of Shanghai Educational Development Foundation was awarded at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. 324 teachers and students from 7 colleges and universities in Shanghai obtained financial support of RMB450, 000 Yuan. Xie Lijuan, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Political Consultative Conference and President of Municipal Educational Development Foundation, attended the award ceremony. Tian Enmin, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Board of Supervisors of SYWG, as well as Xie Jinkun, member of the Party Committee and General Manager of Human Resource Division, attended the ceremony. Donated and established by our company, "SYWG Prize" is one of the measures to repay the society and support the development of education. Over the past 10 years, there were award-winners of 89 advanced groups and 2,680 teachers and students, with a total amount of RMB3.5 million Yuan bestowed.

>> “Shenyin & Wanguo Scholarship & Grant” Award Ceremony Held Recently
On June 24, 2005, “Shenyin & Wanguo Scholarship & Grant” Award Ceremony was held in the auditorium of Yunnan University. It is a new program of public welfare established by SYWG to support the poverty-stricken students of Yunnan University to finish their study and to carry on the tradition of “Dedicate Love to Repay the Society”. Tian Enmin, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Board of Supervisors of SYWG, relevant directors of Youth League Committee and leaders of Yunnan University attended the ceremony and awarded scholarship and grants to 20 students. Since the establishment of “Shenyin & Wanguo Scholarship & Grant”, the Company has raised RMB46, 118.9 Yuan from 1,639 persons of 10 functional divisions and 93 business departments. Besides, the Company has appropriated more than RMB50, 000 Yuan additionally for this activity, establishing a solid foundation for the success of the program.

>> SYWG Wins Championship of Shanghai Finance “Shenyin&Wanguo Cup” Aerobics Invitation Tournament of 2005
On February 26, 2005, Shanghai Finance “Shenyin & Wanguo Cup” Aerobics Invitation Tournament of 2005 was held in the gymnasium of East China Normal University. This tournament was sponsored by the Shanghai Financial Workers Sports Association and organized by SYWG. Wu Ming, Secretary of the Shanghai Financial Work Commission of the CPC, Wu Jianrong, Deputy Secretary, Director of Financial Labor Union and Chairman of Shanghai Financial Workers Sports Association, Tian Enmin, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Board of Supervisors, and Miao Hengsheng, Vice President and Chairman of Labor Union of SYWG attended the activity. The delegation of SYWG got high marks and won the Championship by their excellent performance. They were also granted the “Outstanding Contribution Award” of this tournament.

On January 11,2005， “Granting Ceremony of 2004 Dawn Program sponsored by Shanghai Educational Development Foundation” was held in the Science Meeting Hall of East China Normal University. Deputy Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee Yin Yicui and the Vice-Chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Shanghai Xie Lijuan attended the meeting, and Chairman of Board of Supervisors Tian Enming was invited to the ceremony. As one of the directors of this foundation, SYWG has donated 2 million RMB to Shanghai Educational Development Foundation.

>> SYWG Gets Good Results in “2nd Friendship Sports Meeting in Financial Trade”
Vice President Huang Xiaowei attended the award ceremony of “the 2nd Friendship Sports Meeting in Financial Trade” on July 3rd, 2004. To further improve mutual communication and friendship, Shenyin & Wanguo participated in the sports meeting in answer to invitation from the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Shanghai Branch. All players did well at the sports meeting, and Xu chang, Xie Min, Song Youyuan, Hu Jiejing, Jin Fumin, Zhou Qi, Wang Huan won the second prize in Group Relay Swim and Badminton Mixed Doubles, and the third prize in Bridge, respectively. Meanwhile, the Company was awarded the cup of encouragement specially set up at the 2nd sports meeting.

>> SYWG Mobilizes League Members to Donate to Outstanding but Poor Students in Yunnan University
To inherit and develop its good tradition of “Repaying Society with Love”, the League Committee of the Company (the League Committee hereafter) took the initiative and contacted the Yunnan Provincial League Committee, and the League Committee of Yunnan University. After active negotiation and preparation, the three parties reached a decision that series of lectures would be given to students in Yunnan University to improve their overall quality based on the Donglu Forum at Yunnan University. Famous scholars and professors from Shanghai would be invited under sponsorship of the League Committee to give lectures. Besides, the League Committee will provide yearly allowance to the students in College of Economics, College of Life Sciences of Yunnan University, who are from poor family but good in both moral characters and scholarships. On May 23rd, 2004, the League Committee called on league members to contribute their own bit for the campaign.

>> SYWG Wins Excellent Prize of “Competition of Comprehensive Skill of Individual Finance Management
On December 19, 2003, the final of “Competition of comprehensive skill of individual finance management by youth in Shanghai financial trades” was held in the broadcast hall of Shanghai Broadcasting and TV Building. The participant team of Shenyin&Wanguo was among the 10 financial units for finals and won the excellent prize with good records. The competition was sponsored by Shanghai Communist Youth League Committee and Shanghai Financial Youth Workers Working Committee, with the aim to expand the knowledge scope of young workers in the financial trade so as to upgrade their own qualification and increase the comprehensive competitive strength of the enterprise.

>> Heads of SYWG Visit Logistics Department of Shanghai Armed Police Headquarters
On July 29, 2003, led by Shenyin&Wanguo’s Party Committee Secretary and President Feng Guorong, a delegation with Vice Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Board of Supervisors Tian Enmin and responsible persons from related divisions visited the Logistics Department of Shanghai Armed Police Headquarters to express on behalf of the entire staff and employees their regards and greetings to the soldiers and their congratulations to the 76th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

>> SYWG Donates rmb1 Million to Municipal People's Government as Special Fund for Fighting SARS
In mid-May, 2003, Shenyin&Wanguo, while earnestly adopting preventive measures against SARS, brought into play the good Chinese tradition of “when one in difficulty all sides will come to help”, by donating RMB1 million as special fund for fighting SARS. It was an act in supporting and joining in the fight against SARS.

>> SYWG Prize for 2002 Award Ceremony in East China Normal University
On January 7, 2003,the award ceremony the “Shenyin&Wanguo Prize” for 2002 by Shanghai Municipal Educational Development Foundation was held in East China Normal University. Xie Lijuan, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Political Consultative Conference and President of Shanghai Municipal Educational Development Foundation, Tian Enmin, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Board of Supervisors and others attended the ceremony to give speeches. Over 300 prizes winning teachers and students from 7 institutions of higher education, such as Fudan University, were present at the ceremony. Since its founding 8 years before, over 2,100 teachers and students had won financial support for a total amount of more than RMB2.6 million. It has become an influential scholarship among universities and colleges in Shanghai.
